but i am walking thru the magnificent seneca river wetlands and an eagle is circling low overhead as i walk past it’s nest. every day has its fresh surprises. laz

cannot find my happy place this morning. i know the worst of the climbs that trash my legs and those nightmare descents that brutalize my back are behind me… but i cannot find my happy place today. 400 miles is just a long way. and it feels like it. maybe my happy place is waiting somewhere up the road. i hope so. there are almost 3000 miles to go! laz ( feeling sort of beaten Read more…
after 390 miles i am eating lunch at a cafe instead of a diner and quaffing a birch beer rather than a root beer (not sure how far it is to civilization and dr pepper) it was only yesterday i could get real chocolate milk for the first time! laz
