vole stare toad race: 108 hour update

this one will be a little hurried,
as matthew bird is in no hope
and on the way to the turn up sand mountain.
we have to finish a quick meal and head up that way to get his finish.
also to pack up stuff to begin life at the rock full time.
it looks like we will have finishers coming in all night.

if you can imagine,
after all this time,
the halfway update is not until tomorrow morning.

the weather forecast,
as weather forecasts are wont to do,
has pushed the rain back again to the day after tomorrow.
tomorrow has been switched to another triple digit day.
i am sure that long ragged line is glad that they will be dealing with the devil they know,
instead of having to adjust to something new.

with todays drops we no longer have anyone behind oprah.
oprah, we can be sure,
has here eyes on the next group of runners moving just ahead of her.
there is no rest for the weary.
