i hate to have to post this…

but:
it is not 1980 any more,
and every year the traffic on tennessee roads gets heavier.
and every year we have people who drive vast distances because they want to somehow be a part of this.
.
they drive up and down the road making the race that much more dangerous for everyone.
.
real road angels are the people along the course
who have set up places off the road,
ranging from elaborate setups
to just a little cooler with some cold fluids inside.
.
people who drive in from across,
or even out of state to add more traffic to the roads
are only going to make the race more hazardous.
we are begging you to stay home….
